Winners were celebrated on April 15th at Comercia Park when the Tigers celebrated

Jackie Robinson Day.

Using Jackie Robinson's nine values, the Tigers encourage students age 18 years or older or parents on behalf of students under age 18 who are either enrolled in a private or public secondary or home school to create an artistic expression that captures the spirit of one or more of the values.

Works of art may include painting, drawing, or rendering. Submissions must be submitted by any student over the age of 18 or by a parent/legal guardian with a child who is enrolled in a private, public elementary or secondary school or a home school for the 2023 school year.

Prizes Include:

Winners and their guests will be invited to Comerica Park to attend the Tigers home game vs. the Giants on April 15th. Each winner will be provided two tickets!

 

  • 1st Place: $1,500 and original art piece displayed on the Summer Slugger Tigers Showcase Webpage on April 15, 2023.
  • 2nd Place: $750
  • 3rd Place: $250
